Drive Green obsession? Empty Drive Green obsession?

Post  Daisy Dart Mon Jun 14, 2010 12:57 pm

Driving home from work tonight in my car I came up to a roundabout a bit fast and had to brake a bit harder than I intended. Suddenly I found myself looking at the top of the dash to see if I'd incurred a amber or red light on the Drive Green led display. It quickly dawned on my then that I'm driving my car, not a bus!!! Shocked

I had to learn to 'drive green' today - lots of red lights would appear on the dashboard if I braked too hard, oil battery + water.. and the engine would cut out to boot!

luckerly we don't have this system yet in Nottingham but I think at some point you've done something in your car.. that until you relalise that your not in a bus... My Dad keeps on telling me while I;m driving his Van that I'm in a van not a 40 foot bus as I go around corners wide... I've even pulled up to a bus stop once in my car..many many moons ago. Smile
