Yorkshire line?
Heard a company called Yorkshire line are starting a route from Leeds to Morley.Does anybody have any info on this company because i have never heard of them.

They are based in Normanton by the train station. Head office in Holmfirth....Hmmmm. Not seen a service registration from them though, only an o licence application.

Could be job opportunities aswell if they are setting up new routes.I wonder what buses they will get to run these new services.

Looks like they have gone t*ts up.
It was inevitable really with them running R reg Beavers and P reg darts and missing trips left right and centre.

I'd heard they hadn't paid drivers for a little while, and couldn't afford the fuel.

I suppose it takes a lot of money to set up a bus company,and you should expect to lose money in the first few months which is why you need a lot of working capital to start with.
Seems like the money ran out which is unfortunate for the drivers who didn't get paid.

If Metro also owed them for muppets & Metrocards, well, that would screw up cash flow too.

Yorkshire Line ceases trading services 53, 105, 106 and X10.
It has now been confirmed that with immediate effect, Friday 20 May 2011, that Yorkshire Line no longer operate any services.
Yorkshire Line's service have operated on a commercial basis and have received no direct funding from Metro. Similar routes operated by Arriva and First are not affected and continue to operate.
Yorkshire Line ceases trading services 53, 105, 106 and X10.

As far as I am aware the owner is one of the Mechanics at a small Huddersfield depot and he is just sticking to his mini buses now (Private Hires)
