Harte Buses

Passed a 10 plate Harte vehicle on the Braehead service in Largs yesterday. When I say vehicle it's because I got only the briefest of glimpses - it seemed too high to be a low floor bus it has a very uncoachlike front end - flat and upright - I'm almost certain it had a Mercedes badge on the front.
Any ideas?

A short while back they had something like that on loan as a demonstrator I think.

It's a MAN 'A91' chassis (budget rear-engined, high-floor bus/coach) with bodywork by FAST, a French company, who chiefly aim for the schoolbus market.

Doesn't look like the same one i had seen,defo 10 plate and in Hartes colours.

Hmmm maybe it was not sure as i was driving at the time,you know how it is concentrating on the road

Aye my mind is made up it was that bus i had seen,due 2 the fact i seen it 2 day.

Bodywork designed by a 5 year old with a set of crayons LOL

According to Harte's half page advert in the Largs & Millport Weekly News ( a riveting read) it's a Mann and it cost £150,000

Its a MAN E94 chassis with a ZF auto box..

That looks about as aerodynamic as a house brick!!
