Its a Plaxton built Volvo B6LE. It was in development before the big cockup that was Transbus. Note the early Enviro 300 style front end...The Original Enviro 300 was the ALX300 body with Plaxton designed front & rear ends

That Dart has a Wadham Stringer body, don't think many were built.

As for the Neoplan, don't think its a Volvo B6 underneath (probably an integral with MAN engine) but Arriva North West operated quite a few of them at one time including a batch of 12m ones

The Neoplan is an integral, possibly with a Merc or MAN engine. Merseyside PTE were big lovers of Neoplan SLF's. Later batches of Neoplan SLF's were based on the Dennis Lance SLF underframe and running units, and there is at leasy one for sale still at Blythswood Motors that was new to Astecbird in Leeds, and has been sat there several years, just like the ex Black Prince Scania deckers they still have in stock!

Millers Coaches had a few of them down here. Weird little things, but very advanced for their time with wheelchair ramps and lowering air suspension.

One is now in preservation with Andy Miller...
