Socialist Bus System

So it's like this. The bus system is a socialist one. Everyone gets to have free travel.

However, those that board 'donate' money in a variety of way. Some put some cash monies in the money shute, some show bits of paper, card or plastic. All get to travel and they all get to moan the bus is late.

My job is steering wheel attendant, they do not want me to check tickets, passes or that the passenger has paid the correct money. Obviously they want me to deal with any incidents or problems, accidents or emergencies and stuff.

Then there is the running late. They want me to 'drive safely' with the road conditions and passenger safety. The other side of that seesaw is that I will be late as I have to plan ahead, slow down, plan for what that idiot driver is going to do and look out for passengers who although are not at the bus stop expect me to stop and wait for them...

Yeah, I've had another crap day. It was too hot, I've got a cold!!! and the headaches are coming in waves again. The neighbours are playing their own version of loud music (6 varieties) and the warm weather stays. On a positive note, I have a book here to read, a day off tomorrow and hopefully it will rain and I can get some peace...
