Count the cash
After a busy morning (yes morning) on the busiest route in Leeds where no bugger seems to have heard of pound coins i managed to amass a few notes and have posted a picture for you to see if you can count how much there is.
Be aware because there may be the odd fiver hidden away so be careful.

I remember taking over a grand in my first piece on the Dudsbry Roads one Monday morning....The queue at the calls was quite long as it took a while to pay in...

Re: Count the cash
It was all weeks and 'grn's then, and the muppets also had to pay...Those were the days, with no buggies either, as it was Lances & double deck Scanias, with the odd Dart thrown into the mixture to cause bedlam on a morning peak!
I liked doing the East Ardlsey run as it was dead there down the M1...70 all the way if it was 8020!

I remember the days when the 'Blues' were a tenner. Used to sell shedloads of them a week. The 'Greens' were for sticking running boards to the dash, and stopping draughts and rattles.

In the first week of competition with the french before they doubled their service and dropped their prices (to unviable levels) some drivers were taking £300-£400 a day!!!

Re: Count the cash
£260 is about average for a 36 Ripon / Leeds round trip in the morning.
It's not unheard of to take over £400 on 2 round trips, especially at this time of year.
Next month I'm gonna have a concerted effort to try and break my personal best of £536.70 on 2 round trips + 1 to Leeds and back.

I'd never get anywhere near that where I am now. Only just got over £100 for a whole shift today!!!
