A bus just doesn`t roll back

My guess is idiots messing about an abandoned bus and releasing the handbrake.

An investigation has been launched after a bus crashed into a pedestrian barrier and a traffic light in Leeds city centre.
The First bus, left, rolled backwards onto the central reservation outside the Three Legs pub on The Headrow just after 7pm on Wednesday.

YEP reader Ian Sadler, who captured the damage on camera, said: "People were laughing and trying to work out how on earth the bus had ended up there."

A spokesman for First UK Bus said: "An empty First bus in between journeys and parked up on the Headrow was involved in a minor road traffic collision.

"The bus rolled backwards a few yards resulting in a collision with a traffic light. No one was injured in the incident and we have now launched a full investigation into the matter."

I remember when I had a bus run out of fuel one night on the outskirts of Leeds the fitter dumped all the air out of it so it couldn't be moved, even if the hand brake was released.

Typical Worst not giving drivers basic instructions to dump all air if their bus has no relief. Its common bloody sense.

Or use the broms brake to stop it!

I never understand why you can't lock the door in the same way you can a coach or car. Anyone could just open the door and hop on, and do anything to it really.
