Veolia in Nottinghamshire finnly gives up

It seems Veolia can no longer afford to keep running the buses service contract there pick up, saying that there only got them because there undercut everyone else.

Veolia Transport have given notice to cease many of their contracted bus services in the east of the County from early June. Work is currently under way to secure replacement operators. This may mean some timetable changes and further information will be issued when available.

The future been on the wall since there closed down the Lincoln depot, in February 2009, with all north east Nottinghamshire based at Tuxford. two months later Hull depot closed, with the assets passing to East Yorkshire.
