An interesting chat last night
Last night I was chatting with some of the First Hampshire and Dorset drivers who were on the Rail contract. Seems their depot manager is only 22 and has no PCV license. How can they discipline so freely if this is the case? Also they want nothing other than to discipline people, and they sack them and wonder why they can't cover the duties. One said he saw a queue of about 5 drivers waiting for bollockings for the most minor of things which I would struggle to call even misdemeanours.
Seems like nothing's changed under the new CEO.

Blockhead is still running the show until next year. Bloody nappy rash management and spineless arselicky union reps.

Even when he does go, I don't think anything will change. Like you once said before... "same shit, different faces".

Someone at my depot got sacked recently for accidently issuing a pensioner ticket instead of a £1.80 ticket. The person the driver did it to was none other than one of the secret service checkers.
