Lol, I've seen our drivers sometimes eating stuff like Mars bars before, doesn't bother me too much. What pisses me off the most is when they're counting their change or looking at their duty sheet when driving (and I don't mean crawling speed either).

I've emptied my quickchange whilst doing 65 mph down the ring road...Running dead of course...I Once had an old bat moaning when i was eating a twix at a set of lights. I told her that I was diabetic, and needed it to keep my sugar up.

Oops, I'd better stop munching packs of M&Ms whilst driving along then!!! silent

Mind you I keep my nibbling a bit more discreet than what that Conventry driver was doing!

One of our drivers got sacked when a passenger saw him open his phone to view a text message so the passenger took a photo with their mobile phone and sent in a complaint. The company investigated the CCTV and it was found that all he did was take his phone out of his pocket then look at it then put it back in his pocket (all this in stationary traffic) but this was enough in the eyes of the management to sack him Evil or Very Mad
I hope the passenger is extremely proud of themselves to put a man out of a job.

Yep. The way to do it is to pull over, stop the bus, switch the engine off, get off the bus, close the doors, take the phone out the pocket and do what had to be done then return to driving. They'll hate it worse.

Alternatively just don't look at the phone, network off or in bag. If I have to leave the network switched on I'll put it on silent with a locked keypad and away from temptation.

Poxy passengers though, the lot of 'em!

I had a driver before texting while driving, and funnily enough on the same journey he smacked the rear overhang on a concrete bollard and didn't even notice. Mind you, he also drove like he'd sat on a wasp whenever he was on school runs, yet felt passengers on a normal service are more important and would drive more decently. But that's another story.

I must admit to eating a portion of chicken pakora complete with sauce will driving in service. One of the holes in the steering wheel on a Scania L94 is perfect for the size of the container for it and the sauce gets wedged in between the handbrake and the window. Id probably get the book thrown at me if i got caught though.
