What is the world coming to?

One of my colleagues was telling me the other day that another driver was dragged up into the office to see the manager. The reason for this was that someone had put in a complaint about the driver in question saying that he had looked at them in a funny way! Nobody, including the driver who was being disciplined, could really understand what the complainer had meant by that. I think that when bus companies get ridiculous complaints like this they should sling them straight in the bin. It's obviously been done by a nutter, as who else but a nutter would take the time to write in and say that a bus driver looked at them in a funny way?!

Heard another one from a driver. He was having trouble with his bus and when he got to the station he still had a passenger on. He phoned up the depot and was told to bring the bus in. He had trouble convincing this woman passenger to leave the bus. He said she was right stroppy with him.
A few days later this bus driver gets called into the office to answer a complaint by a member of the public that he'd been smoking while driving his bus in service. When asked if he had done this he said no, and that when he was driving through the area he was alleged to have been smoking he had about 40 to 50 people on his bus and no one else had complained about him smoking whilst driving. Anyway to cut a long story short it turns out that this woman who'd been asked to leave the broken down bus had made a false and malicious complaint against the driver. She'd taken exception to being told to leave the bus and so made up a complete lie to get her own back. Just shows you how nasty some people can be!

Seems the folk round there are nothing but liars!

It seems to be happening all to often now. Personally I don't know how people can live with themselves when they make false claims.

One of our drivers got pulled in by the cops whilst driving his bus.All because of a passenger claimed he had been drinking.Wish was total nonsense,as he passed the breath test.

That happened to a driver I know. He made a joke that he'd had a shot of vodka or something but the passengers took him seriously. Down the road he was tugged by the coppers and breathalysed. Of course he was in the clear.
