My bumpy day Empty My bumpy day

The first bump of the day happened when getting into the cab of a single deck Scania. My poor right knee smashed into the steering wheel surround, leaving my with a nasty bump there. The second bump of the day happened when trying to help a passenger after the handle bars of her kid's toy bike got trapped in the doors. She'd put the thing in the luggage rack and it'd probably slid forward as the bus moved. With hindsight I should have shut the doors again first. As I released the handlebar of the little bike the door sprung back and hit me full force on the forehead, leaving me with a large throbbing bump there. So now I'm all aches and pains!!! Sad

If it was America, you would now be suing the owner of that kids bike, and the bus body builder.

I suppose it's a good thing it was me that the door got and not the passenger. There might have been holy hell to pay if she'd got hit on the head by the door. She'd have probably tried to milk it for every penny she could get.
