Creases in your trousers

Don't know if anyone else suffers from this. But the other day when I was driving in the hot weather I found that not only were my legs feeling sweaty, but the creases that had formed in my trousers were sort of digging into my legs and making me really uncomfortable. It got pretty sore after a while, sod it if I'm late if that happens again I'm getting out of the cab to ease it off.

I think First and other bus companies banned shorts because of customer complaints about bus drivers legs. I mean in summer in the canteen you used to see some right awful sights!!!

I would tell said punters to go shove their heads up their arses. It is none of their business if the driver wants to be comfortable in the cab!

Jeans, I feel great in 'em, don't get as sweaty and you don't have to iron them. Driver uniform is pointless though, I never notice it and I don't think anybody else does. Driver should be aloud to wear what is the most comfortable for them, or at least if you are going to have a uniform create it with comfort in mind.

They go for the cheapest crappiest uniform they can buy..

Oh they do notice it, believe me. Especially when you are waiting to take on your bus. The one in the uniform will become the target of nutters and irritating bastards!!!

I believe stagecoach driver are allowed short

Yet as bus drivers we have 2 put up with there unsightly legs

They are available but not in the xxxxxxl sizes (which is why, presumably, no body seems to have/wear them )

I have seen some Kline drivers in jeans and a t-shirt, but that may change - centrebus.

I can see new parent DB slowly fading out the fake companies such as Centrebus and TGM

See if you can find some convincing looking subsitutes. I remember back when I was required to wear itchy black trousers I managed to find some suitible black bottoms that weren't noticably different and wore those instead.

Still going to get creases in them that dig into your legs though. I have got a pair of non-First trousers that I wear. Well actually they belonged to the uniform of another bus company!!
