Leeds Open Top Bus Tour

No, I'm not joking, it starts this weekend.

A bit odd, I did not think there was anything special in Leeds. I will probably go for a ride on it sometime, for a bit of a laugh.

edit: I have an idea combine this with the free city bus, 2 birds one stone.

Why don`t people just sit on the free bus for a round trip?

And the YEP get it spectacularly wrong again. There was an open top tour running in the mid 80s when WYPTE purchased 2 convertible open top Olympians (5147/, but that service actually went somewhere....Lotherton Hall!

They used to have an open top tour bus running around Ipswich at one point. Now if you think Leeds hasn't got much to offer then the mind really boggles over what there is to see in Ipswich!!!

And at £7.50 its a feckin rip off as a Day rider on Worst is only £3.20 which covers just about all the sightseeing route

I`ve seen it trundling round Leeds today and i have to say there were actually quite a few people on
Must be the sunny weather getting to peoples heads.

Most of the punters will be vegs at the mo no doubt, frothing over an aged heap in use in Leeds

By the way what is a "veg"?

Someone who loves buses a little too much to be healthy. Their entire live revolves around buses, and must involve buses on a 100% level. I know a good example of a veg..The person who supposedly runs BACF!

Good EX: What comes first? BUS or everything else such as friend/ pubs/ Sunshine/ Woman

Thanks for the ex. I am not a veg, I don't take pictures, record fleet numbers and I don't think about buses every six seconds.

The so called owner of BACF does sadly. See lots of veg's at rallies, that's why I now avoid bus events as much as possible.

Easiest way to identify a Veg is the notebook, thermos of weak lemon drink and the annoying nasal voice. Also wouldn't recognise a woman if one ran around naked in front of them.
