Transferred from Travel West Midlands' branch. Not sure what was sent down in return but I would have thought they would have ended up at Miller Street for a while. The Scania's are certainly nice to drive but I am sure they (the drivers) will soon understand the frustration of the doors and brake lock system.

Yes and no. They were part of a batch of 160 that National Express West Midlands bought and have been 'allocated' to Dundee. As a result the buses they are replacing are being transferred back to the WM area.

Most if not all the Garages in the WM area have had their Scania's already.

They look nice.

Our Merc Citaros have door / brake lock system - it's no biggy really - certainly not frstrating once you're used to it - even now with the buses ageing electronics and mechanisms.

Dundee might be a bit of a commute from Plymouth tho.

Looks like the same colour scheme as TWM/Birmingham have except they have numbered them 72xx where as Birmingham have 18xx and 19xx for their Scania's.

I do like the test function on them when doing walk around checks although it would also be handy if there was a feature that showed ALL the active instrument lights on the dashboard too, but that is more of a design feature.
