They've been in service a short while now, and aren't actually too bad. Better than the X1 Gemini/B9TLs at FEC.

These last two wouldn't work the 19 though, its a minibus route and is tight in a Solo. Last time a decker (one of the Presidents) worked it it lost its roof on a tree.....No

Yup. Cummins Magimix/Voith. Too small and not enough cogs in the box!

All they are is a Trident in a posh frock, but with a smaller engine!

They pull away ok, and are fairly smooth, but aren't a patch on the now withdrawn Volvo Olympians and PS B10M's.

We have these in Manchester, Enviro400 with Alexander Dennis bodywork. We have the 2006/2008/2009 reg ones and as a passenger they are actually quite comfortable, although they don't feel as well built as some of the older buses with cheap plastic trimmings. What spec engine are on these does anyone know?

Think its a 5 speed in these now, our newer Tridents have 4 speed ones.

They are better built than the Enviro bodied Scanias though...

Any one driven the enviro 400 and after a good run then slowing down or stopping then puling away get the temp buzzer sound for a short time.
